Offer in Compromise Processing Fee – The fee which the RIS charges for a taxpayer to submit an Offer in Compromise. The fee is non refundable, and if the Offer is denied it is put towards paying off the taxpayers liability.
Other IRS Expenses – These are allowed if the expense qualifies as necessary. Some of the reasons may be healthcare costs, or income related expenses. The expense is considered allowable and reasonable based on each individual’s facts and situation.
Out–of–Pocket Health Care Costs – The total amount of medical expenses including prescriptions, medical services and medical supplies not covered by the taxpayer’s health and medical insurance. This expense falls under the category of Other IRS expenses.
